Latinx theatre Commons
The Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) is a national movement that uses a commons-based approach to transform the narrative of the American theatre, to amplify the visibility of Latinx performance making, and to champion equity through advocacy, art making, convening, and scholarship. The LTC is a flagship program of HowlRound.
I served on the LTC Steering Committee from 2015-2020. I am the former Co-Champion of Café Onda, and member of the Anti-Racism Task Force. Most recently, I served as Co-Champion of the LTC TYA Sin Fronteras Festival and Convening, producing the first international Latinx TYA Festival in U.S. history. You may download the festival program here. To read more about the festival, please visit our website. You can also watch select livestreamed archival sessions from the convening, on Howlround TV.
